Achromatic

Kimberly Carden’s project, Achromatic, showcases a sophisticated grayscale portrait that employs smooth digital shading and soft lighting to emphasize the subject’s elegant over-the-shoulder gaze, textured headwrap, and striking pearl accessories. By stripping away color, this piece highlights light, shadow, and texture, capturing the inherent dignity and humanity within the form.
